ZK News – Zimmer Kunz lawyers named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for 2017
Zimmer Kunz, PLLC is pleased to announce that Dara DeCourcy, Joseph Butcher, Joseph Selep and George Stewart have again been selected as Pennsylvania Super Lawyers®. Greg Scheuring has again been recognized as a Pennsylvania Rising Star®. This is the 9th straight year that Mr. Stewart and Mr. Selep have been recognized as top defense civil litigation attorneys. Ms. DeCourcy is again being recognized for her expertise in appellate law and insurance coverage issues. Mr. Butcher is being recognized in the general litigation section and Mr. Scheuring in the civil litigation defense section.
The Super Lawyer designation entails a peer review nomination process, supplemented by third party research to establish high ethical standards and accomplishments of the nominees, and a peer evaluation by practice area. According to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers website, only the top five percent in the state make the list. The Rising Star designation recognizes young lawyers who are forty years of age or younger and have been practicing law for less than ten years. According to Super Lawyers, only two and a half percent of young lawyers earn the Rising Star designation.
