The massive landslide shut down the highway and railroad for weeks.
We represented a target subcontractor in a multi-million dollar demand lawsuit alleging construction defects involving cracks in the concrete decks and beams of a parking garage. The case, involving many parties and their insurers, settled for a fraction of the original demand.
In West Virginia, our attorneys represented one of the largest construction contractors and engineering firms in the world in the collapse of a waste coal silo at a power plant that resulted in the death of a utility worker and business interruption claims.
Also in West Virginia, we represented the contractor at a power plant construction site where a fire inside a smokestack under construction resulted in the death of an employee.
